Text Animation.
To create the text animation:
- Launch Flash Designer and choose "Blank document".
- Choose "Frame" > "Frame Size" to set movie dimensions, for example 400 x 200.
- Choose "Text" tool and click on the frame. Type the text (for example "Text Animation") and click OK.
- Choose "Edit" > "Align" > "Center on Page" to center the text on the frame.
- Choose "Intro" > "Intro Animation", check "Enable Animation" and choose "Zoom" effect.
- Click "Text Animation", check "Enable Glyph Animation" option and click OK twice.
- Press F9 to preview the animation. Hit "Alt+F4" to close preview.
- Choose "Intro" > "Intro Animation"
- Check "Fade" option. Click OK.
- Press F9 to preview.
Way & Always Visible option
- Make sure the text is still selected.
- Choose "Intro" > "Intro Animation"
- Check "2 Way" and "Always Visible" option. Click OK.
- Press F9 to preview.
Animating Items.
To apply intro and outro effects:
- Launch Flash Designer. Choose "Frame" > "Frame Size" to set movie dimensions.
- Choose "Rectangle" tool and draw a rectangle on the frame.
Choose "Item" > "Fill Color". Change rectangle color to anything else
than white.
- Press F9 to preview the animation. Rectangle is static. Hit "Alt+F4" to close preview.
- Choose "Intro" > "Intro Animation"
- Check Enable and choose "Fly In". Click OK.
- Press F9 to preview the animation. The rectangle will fly from left edge. Hit "Alt+F4" to close preview.
- Choose "Outro" > "Outro Animation"
- Check Enable, choose "Fly Out" and "to right edge". Click OK.
- Press F9 to see intro and outro animation.
Applying in-frame motion effect.
- Make sure the rectangle is still selected.
- Choose "Animation" > "Motion"
- Set the following motion options; speed 2, rotation 5 and zoom 2. Click OK.
- Press F9 to preview.
Move on path
- Launch Alligator Flash Designer.
- Choose the Line tool.
- Draw a line across the frame.
- Choose the Ellipse tool.
- Draw an ellipse.
- Check if object (ellipse) is selected. Choose "Animation" > "Motion".
- Under "Move on Path" select the object, polyline name, for example "PolyLine1".
- Click OK and press F9 to preview the movie.
Animation Wizard
- Launch Alligator Flash Designer. Set movie dimensions, 400 x 400 pixels: "Frame" > "Frame size".
- Creating a square Choose the "Rectangle" tool and draw a small rectangle. Choose "Item" > "Resize" and enter 32 x 32, click OK.
- Duplicate the square Choose "Edit" > "Duplicate and
duplicate the item 8 times horizontally. Set "Step Y" to "0", for "Step
X" type the width of the square plus some margin for example try 40
pixels, type 7 as the count.
Select all squares and choose "Edit" > "Duplicate" again. Set Step X
to 0 and Step Y to the same as before for example 40 pixels.
- Delete few squares (about 1/4 of them) - click on a square and press "Del" key.
- Creating the move Pres Ctrl+A to select all items. Choose "Animation" > "Animation Wizard". Uncheck "Synchronized" options.
Click OK.
- Hit F9 for preview.
